Traditional Habesha Dress – T'lfi (ጥልፊ)

T'lfi (ጥልፊ) is a traditional Habesha dress crafted from soft, flowing white fabric with a graceful floor-length silhouette. The dress features a classic round neckline, short pleated sleeves, and a fitted bodice that flows into a beautifully pleated skirt. A richly embroidered purple and gold Tibeb (ጥልፊ) panel runs vertically from the neckline to the hem, ending in an elegant traditional cross-inspired motif. The neckline, sleeve cuffs, hem border, and matching Netela (shawl) are adorned with finely handwoven geometric and floral-inspired embroidery, creating a refined and harmonious design.
