Delete your Mezanu account
Your Mezanu account is the same in the Mezanu app (iPhone and Android) and on mezanu.com. Deleting it in one place deletes it everywhere. Removing the app from your phone does not delete the account.
Delete it yourself
- Sign in to the Mezanu app, or to mezanu.com.
- Open Account → Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account is closed straight away and you are signed out on every device.
Ask us to delete it
If you can no longer sign in, or no longer have the app, send a request through Contact support (category "Account & Privacy"), or email privacy@mezanu.com from the address on your account. We confirm by email and close the account within one month at the latest, as data-protection law requires.
Seller accounts are closed by our team, so open orders and payouts can be settled first. Contact support and we close it within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your name, username, email address, phone number, addresses, bio and profile photo
- Saved measurement profiles, saved payment methods and your cart
- Your wishlist, followed shops, likes, saves and comments, saved designs and favourite patterns, gallery posts and listings, and call contacts
- Your notification and privacy settings
- Your sign-in: the account can no longer be used, and the email address can be registered again
What is kept, and why
- Orders you placed stay for accounting and tax records, with your name, email, phone number and delivery address removed. They show as "Deleted customer". Accounting law requires these records for up to 10 years.
- Reviews, custom tailoring orders, messages with sellers about orders and prices, and coin and call-credit history stay as part of those orders and shops' records, no longer linked to your name or contact details.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe, which keeps its own payment records as financial regulations require. Mezanu never stores full card details.
